Choose six numbers from 1 to 49. A play costs $3. Match all six numbers to win the fixed $5 million Classic Jackpot. Smaller prizes are won by matching 2, 3, 4 or 5 numbers, and the bonus number counts for some of them.

- Each Lotto 6/49 play includes a computer-generated 10-digit Gold Ball number. One Gold Ball number is drawn at random from all the numbers issued, and every ticket with that exact number wins $1 million or the Gold Ball Jackpot. The Gold Ball Jackpot starts at $10 million.
- What is Encore?
- Encore is an optional add-on that costs $1 per play. A 7-digit Encore number is drawn with the main game and you win by matching its digits in exact order, from right to left or from left to right. The top Encore prize is $1 million.
